At William Perry

William Perry is proud to present x-STREAMfest 2023 to our students and their families. This is a night that celebrates hands-on learning across 6 major fields of study (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). Community organizations and partners are bringing in demonstrations and activities to show students that what they are learning about in school is in use in the world around them. It will also let them see some of the jobs/fields that are connected to them.

Each field will be represented as its own “land” and will have several different options to explore. Students will be given “passports” to get stamped at each session that they visit. At the end of the night families can turn in their passports to be entered into a drawing for tickets to The Frontier Culture Museum or Lurray Caverns. The only hard part will be choosing which sessions to visit as there are so many fabulous choices.

My name is Sharon Barker and I’m honored to be the new principal at William Perry Elementary School!  I have been working with elementary aged children for over 20 years and I am excited to start the 2021/2022 school year with you and your child/children. This will be a great year full of new opportunities and learning new things.  I can’t wait to get started!
